94 points Charles Curtis, MW (Decanter): "The fruit is plum and fig, with a suggestion of roast coffee and smoke. The texture is rich and hedonistic, yet the tannins are firm. This 0.76ha parcel, planted 1969, is next to Roncière, but has a different soil make-up with much more clay. This is concentrated wine - some vines ripened grapes to 15% alcohol, the highest for the domaine. Grivot maintains freshness in part by bottling with 550-650 mg/lit of CO2. Drinking Window: 2025-2050. (Nov 2021)"

94 points Christy Canterbury, MW (TimAtkin.com): "Showing deeply ripe fruit notes, there's even a touch of dried plums here alongside the cassis, underbrush and graphite. The oak is discreet and allows the verbose aromatics to dominate the solid finish that tingles with acidic refreshment. 2023-34. (2023)"

91-94 points/'Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "Slightly riper aromas of black cherry, raspberry and earth are fresh if brooding. There is both excellent delineation and vibrancy suffusing the delicious medium-bodied flavors that culminate in a chalky, palate drenching and youthfully austere finish. Lovely and very Pruliers in character. Drink: 2035+. (Jan 2022)"

90-93 points Jasper Morris, MW: "Amazingly deep dark colour with purple rim. There is a very powerful if slightly baked fruit here, definitely in the sun and perhaps wind dried cherry mode, drier tannins too and plenty of acidity. Teeters on the edge. Sugars rose rapidly just before picking, reaching 14.5%. (Nov 2021)"
