97 points Tyson Stelzer (The Champagne Guide): "(tasted in 2024 in Australia; 63% chardonnay, 37% pinot noir; 8-12% red wine from Hervé Savès at Camille Savès in Bouzy; premier and grand crus; vinified in 228L oak barrels; no malolactic fermentation; aged more than 14 years on lees; disgorged January 2023; 8g/L dosage; cork; 16,216 bottles). The energy and beauty of 2008 are well encapsulated in a Paradis Rosé of pretty pale salmon copper hue, beginning to assume a subtle bronze tint now at 16 years of age. I love the way it presents bright, primary lift of pink grapefruit, strawberry hull and morello cherry, amassing all the energy of malic acidity in this cold season to charge a palate of tremendous tension. Barrel fermentation and long lees age unite in a creamy structure and layers of brioche, tarte tatin, golden fruit cake and spice of all kinds, lending layers of depth without for a moment disturbing its radiant, primary purity. Outstanding line and length drive a rosé that strikes a brilliant contrast between generous complexity and enduring tension that promises to hold its confidence for another 16 years yet. (2024)"
95 points Anne Krebiehl, MW (Vinous): "The 2008 Brut Rosé Cuvée Paradis, a blend of 63% Chardonnay and 37% Pinot Noir from premiers and grands crus, was vinified in small oak barrels without malolactic fermentation and spent 13 years on lees. Subtle cream and caramel-dipped rye bread notes with an overtone of cherry express themselves on the exquisitely youthful nose. The palate offers beautifully salty rye sourdough depth and texture, creamy yet taut, with an absolutely fine mousse that foams away with tiny, insistent bubbles lending vivacity and creaminess. This immensely gastronomic Rosé boasts lasting length, real cut and superb freshness. Dosage is 8 grams per liter. Disgorged: January 2023. Drink: 2024-2047. (Mar 2024)"
94 points La Revue du Vin de France: "Paradis rosé 2008 is a favorite, with its aromatic palate marked by notes of stone fruit, cherries and red berries. A lovely bottle to share. (2024)"
93 points Wine Spectator: "[$140 list] Minerally on the nose, with chalk and stone notes underscoring the flavors of white peach and strawberry fruit, toasted brioche and lemon parfait. Like raw silk on the palate, this is well-meshed, showing textural finesse. Mouthwatering acidity keeps this fresh and vibrant throughout. Drink now through 2026. 1,000 cases made, 150 cases imported. (10/10/19)"
93 points James Suckling: "A dense, ample and flavorful brut rosé, showcasing notes of peaches, apricots, currants and some toasted sourdough. Succulent and tangy with plenty of acidulated small-berry character at the center. Quite intense with volume and focus. Delicious vivid finish. Disgorged 2023. Drink now. (7/17/24)"
