96 points Kerin O'Keefe (Wine Enthusiast): "Smoke, star anise, mature wild berry, Mediterranean scrub and blue flower are just some of the aromas you'll find on this compelling red. Elegant, structured and incredibly delicious, the smooth, focused palate delivers juicy Marasca cherry, rhubarb, licorice and tobacco alongside a vein of flinty mineral. It's impeccably balanced, with polished tannins and fresh acidity. Drink through 2027. (Dec 2020)"

96 points Falstaff Guide: "Brightening garnet red with fine shimmer. Emphatically fragrant nose, of rhubarb, pomegranate and raspberry. Radiant on the palate, shows a lot of vivid fruit, especially pomegranate and raspberry, then opens with dense, pithy tannin, firm drive and long finish, emphasizing salty notes on the finish. (Apr 2019)"

95 points Monica Larner (Wine Advocate): "This is a new wine from Alberto Graci with fruit sourced from the part of his vineyard holding located "above the well" in the Contrada Arcuria not too far from the Graci winery. The beautiful 2015 Etna Rosso Arcurìa Sopra il Pozzo pours from the bottle with medium intensity and mild ruby intensity. You might mistake this wine for a Pinot Noir or Nebbiolo if you were to judge by appearance alone. However, the bouquet shows that strong volcanic character that is unmistakable in the red wines from Etna; wild berries, blue flowers, red currant, licorice, mountain herbs and crushed stone all play leading roles on the bouquet. That dry tannin that I got in the top-shelf Quota 1000 Barbabecchi is not present here. Drink 2019-2035 (Oct 2019)"

94 points Decanter: "This was the first vintage of an outstanding parcel within Arcuria that henceforth is bottled separately. For all the excellence of the regular 2015, this is different, with richer raspberry aromas and greater aromatic weight. It's very elegant and silky, highly concentrated with fine acidity. It's more skeletal now than the regular wine: taut, lingering and very long. Drinking window 2019-2032 (Oct 2018)"

93 points James Suckling: "This has elixir-like aromas of red berries and dark woody spices, as well as dried herbs and a blood-orange edge. The palate has supple, smooth-honed fruit flavors with a fine, layered and dusty, dry finish. 100% nerello mascalese. Drink over the next four years. (Oct 2020)"

92 points Wine Spectator: "[$220 list] A harmonious, medium-bodied red, with fine tannins lending supple grip to the flavors of strawberry preserves, Earl Grey tea and dried fig. Smoke and spice notes echo on the lasting, plush finish. Drink now through 2025. 225 cases made, 100 cases imported. (Oct 2020)"
