95 points Tyson Stelzer (The Champagne Guide): "(tasted in 2021 in France; 100% chardonnay from the Côte des Blancs, Montagne de Reims and Vallée de la Marne, in particular Avize, Chouilly, Cramant, Villers-Marmery and Trépail; 2017 base vintage; aged at least 4 years on lees; disgorged June 2021; 4g/L dosage). The Gosset house style of refined minerality and thrilling malic acidity has shone in its blanc de blancs since its inaugural 2011 base release, and never more brilliantly than it does in this 2017 base, a grand testimony to the star grape of this notoriously challenging season. Its bright, medium straw hue heralds a blanc de blancs of beautiful purity and precision, with a core of fresh lemon and grapefruit accented by subtle, exotic nuances of mandarin. Wonderful crystalline purity of salty chalk minerality entwine seamlessly with malic acidity, uplifting a very long, linear and clear finish. A thrilling blanc de blancs with the confidence to hold its energy and poise for many years to come. (Edition VII; 2024)"

95 points Anne Krebiehl, MW (Decanter): "The most subtle lemony cloud hovers above a certain chalkiness on the nose. Utter subtlety also characterises the super-svelte palate that is as light as a feather, yet conveys great depth and creamy softness. The freshness seems buffered by chalk, the mousse serves to remind you that this is actually Champagne, so breezy, so light, so elegant is this. A wonderful combination of depth and weightlessness. Drinking Window: 2020-2030. (Oct 2020)"

94 points Wine Spectator: "[$112 list] A vivid Champagne, with firm, mouthwatering acidity enmeshed with a lovely range of poached pear and nectarine, blanched almond, white blossoms and candied lemon peel. Fine and creamy in texture, with a streak of salinity chiming in on the minerally finish. Drink now through 2030. 188 cases imported. (9/25/24)"

94 points Anne Krebiehl, MW (Falstaff): "A touch of flint, fresh lemon zest and exquisite creaminess characterise the nose. The palate is taut and sleek, utterly fresh and bright but bedded in softest, finest mousse. This most delicious contradiction delivers utter refreshment and harmonious balance in equal measure. Beautiful depth shimmers on the long, bone-dry and fresh finish. (8/8/21)"

93 points James Suckling: "This has a complex nose of sourdough, parmesan, oyster shells, dried pineapples and lemons. It’s medium-bodied, sharp and structured on the palate, with fantastic phenolic tension and underlying chalky minerality. Tight mousse. 100% chardonnay from Cotes des Blancs. Based on 2018 harvest. Disgorged September 2022. 5.5g/L dosage. Drink or hold. (7/31/23)"
