93 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "I really love the size and shape of the 2020 Fèvre Vaillons, which deliver lovely detail in its complex aromatic constellation of lime, green apple, a touch of tangerine, beeswax, limestone minerality and a topnote of fruit blossoms. On the palate the wine is full-bodied, snappy and focused, with an excellent core, superb balance and complexity and a very long, vibrant and classy finish. Excellent juice. 2026-2055. 90-93 points/'Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from purchased must in Fourchaume proper and Vaupoulent). An abundance of Chablis typicity is present on the aromas of mineral reduction, white orchard fruit, citrus zest and tidal pool. There is again very good volume and density to the medium-bodied flavors that are unusually powerful for Fourchaume, all wrapped in a lemony and almost salty finish. This is quite promising and particularly so for a négociant offering. Drink: 2026+. (Oct 2021)"
