92 points/'Editors Choice,' Kerin O’Keefe (Wine Enthusiast): "From one of the top estates on the island, this lovely white doesn't disappoint. It opens with aromas of citrus, Mediterranean brush and spring blossom while the linear, vibrant palate features juicy grapefruit, green melon and crushed botanical herbs. A hint of saline gives it a savory close. (Dec 2021)"
91 points Eric Guido (Vinous): "The 2020 Grillo Timpa is stunning, wafting up with exotic florals and citrus tones, as a more defined bouquet of tangerine, kiwi and candied ginger evolves with time in the glass. It fills the palate with silky waves of ripe tropical fruits, all kept in check through vibrant acidity and a twang of sour lime toward the close. Pineapple mingles with mango and papaya through the long, tension-filled finale, leaving the senses completely refreshed and aching for another sip. Drink: 2021-2025. (Jun 2021)"
91 points Monica Larner (Wine Advocate): "Here's another organic wine from Fabio Sireci of Feudo Montoni, this one aged on the lees in cement for 6 months. The 2020 Sicilia Grillo Timpa is very fragrant and floral, and the wine shows terrific purity throughout. Aromas of peach blossom and honeysuckle are put on full display, and there are soft touches of beeswax and Sicilian candied fruit. Pretty mineral notes play into the charming sweet versus dry contrasts that you get in this release of 36,000 bottles. "Timpa" is the local term for a steep climb, which gives you an idea of the terrain where this Grillo is grown at more than 700 meters in altitude and the work involved in its cultivation. The wine offers outstanding value. Drink: 2021-2023. (Nov 2021)"
