93-95 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "A rich thoroughbred purple colour. The nose is remarkably expressive, and holds up well even after several stunning wines from the Côte de Nuits. Clean pure and precise, a dark fruit hovering between red and black berry. A little touch of coconut. A very fine expression of Corton with some delicacy. Well done. Drink from 2031-2039. Tasted: December 2023."

Offering up aromas of cherries, dried petals, warm spices and smoke, it's medium to full-bodied, supple and fleshy, with an ample core of succulent fruit and a seamless, integrated profile. The rich, powerful and enveloping large-bodied flavors possess impressive concentration and overt power and muscle while terminating in a beautifully long, compact and very firm finale that flirts with rusticity. This slightly warm effort should age well over the next 12 to 15 years. Drink: 2034+. (Jan 2024)"
