94-97 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "Made by the vinification intégrale manner after pedicel treatment, then aged in a new 150 litre François Frères barrel. A fine fresh medium deep purple. The bouquet is a little more open than Petits Monts, with some pepper alongside concentrated peonies and red berries. Exquisite delicacy, this wine is certainly the more open of the two. Apparently was the other way round a month ago! Hoping the wood doesn’t dominate. Really long intense finish with the highest quality. Drink from 2028-2036. Tasted: December 2022."

Airy and very fresh aromas are comprised by notes of plum, spice, earth, red and dark pinot fruit and discreet wood. Offering up aromas of red berries, sweet soil tones, petals and spices, it's medium to full-bodied, satiny and racy, with good depth at the core and a taut, youthfully structured profile.
