I wonder if the wood is talking as the pepper continues in the mouth. I think this is going to work out very well though because it is not vegetal at all, and the fruit behind is lively and persistent. Drink from 2025-2030. Tasted: December 2022." 89-91 points/'Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "An exuberantly fresh nose features good aromatic breadth with its array of plum, dark pinot fruit, violet, rose petal and anise. There is a bit more volume and richness if perhaps a bit less minerality to the delicious and vibrant flavors that exhibit very good length on the less austere yet firm finish.
