93-95 points Jasper Morris, MW: "Slow to ripen, which was a blessing in 2018, but picked before the rain. Dense concentrated purple. The nose is discreet but fine, the palate an absolute explosion of really dense fruit with a fine crisp finish. Raspberry with intense ripe cherry alongside, just enough acidity. A real crunch at the finish. Tasted: November 2019."

93 points Tim Atkin, MW (Jan 2020).

91-93 points Fine Wine Review: "Floral, spicy nose. Medium-light in mouth, spicy, dark fruits, elegant. Good freshness. Some licorice aspects in the mouth. (11/25/19)"

91-93 points Steen Öhman (Winehog): "Les Damodes is one of the – perhaps – unexpected highlights of the 2018 lineup. It has surprising energy and a vivid expression of perfumed fruit. Yes, it is rich – but it’s both delicate and fresh. Classic influences of southern Vosne minerality are thrilling my palate. This is not half bad! Drink from 2028. (11/14/19)"
