95 points Charles Curtis, MW (Decanter): "Ripe blackcurrant and plum fruit, with distinct mineral and floral notes. The texture is firm and structured, yet the wine is approachable enough to suggest that it won't be necessary to wait forever for this to mature. Fine and elegant. Faiveley owns 4.5 ha here, more than half of the total land in Cazetiers. This is always among the first climats to be picked by the team at Faiveley. The grapes are fermented with a large percentage of whole clusters and are fermented in half-new casks. Drinking Window: 2025-2040. (Nov 2021)"

95 points Christy Canterbury, MW (TimAtkin.com): "These vines are suffering quite a lot due to the several recent years of dry summers. Showing a glimmer of purple in its deep core, this is nonetheless incredibly rich in concentration. In fact, it's almost chewy. It smells a bit like a spice bazaar, and its palate is rich with black cherries and gaminess. Don't rush this, though it is admittedly fascinating to see its youthful vigor. 2024-37. (2022)"

93-95+ points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "The 2020 Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Les Cazetiers is brilliant, unwinding in the glass with aromas of dark berries, plums, dark chocolate, spices and vanilla pod. Medium to full-bodied, layered and concentrated, it's elegantly muscular, with a deep and multidimensional core and a long, expansive finish. It's worth a special effort to seek out. (Jan 2022)"

92-94 points Jasper Morris, MW: "Bright vibrant purple, this is exuberant, wearing its heart on its sleeve. On the richer side, I was thinking possible 14% but Erwan confirms 13.5%. It has retained all its balance, and can offer a very pretty long juicy cherry finish. (Nov 2021)"

91-94 points/'Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from a huge 3.96 ha parcel). Once again there is a lovely sense of freshness to the more restrained, even brooding, dark berry fruit nose that is cut with hints of the sauvage and just turned earth. The dense, powerful and gorgeously textured larger-scaled flavors brim with both dry extract and minerality before concluding in a complex, balanced and sneaky long finale. Excellent potential here. Drink: 2032+. (Jan 2022)"
