91-93 points/'Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "Here too there is enough wood to notice on the expressive nose that is riper than is typical for LSJ. In the same vein the medium-bodied flavors are notably richer than is typical for a young LSJ with plenty of minerality on the robust, powerful and concentrated finish. This is serious if a bit atypical and note well that it's going to require plenty of cellar time to reach its apogee. Drink: 2029+. (Jan 2016)"
