93 points Neal Martin (Wine Advocate): "Tasted blind at the annual "Burgfest" tasting in Beaune. The 2012 Gevrey Chambertin 1er Cru Les Cazetiers from Maison Faiveley is more backward on the nose with woodland, tree bark aromas infusing the red berry fruit that gain intensity quite rapidly in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with succulent ripe tannin, crisp acidity and a lively, quite peppery finish that has plenty of character. It lingers tenderly in the mouth long after the wine has departed. Bon vin. Drink: 2016-2035. (Oct 2015)"
93 points Bruce Sanderson (Wine Spectator): "[$153 list] Oak spice leads off, with smoky black cherry, licorice and berry flavors. Shows intensity and refinement, with well-integrated tannins on the fresh finish. Best from 2017 through 2029. 625 cases made, 160 cases imported. (3/31/15)"
92 points Stephen Tanzer (Vinous): "[$153 list] Medium red. Aromas of raspberry, woodsmoke and flowers complemented by sexy oak tones. Supple and velvety, with inviting flavors of strawberry, raspberry, game and earth supported by smoky minerality. At once juicy and harmonious, finishing with sweet red fruits.
