92-95 points Fine Wine Review: "This wine is a mixture from three parcels -- two low in the vineyard, one at the top. As with Clos-Vougeots elsewhere, the finesse of the vintage trumps what is often the rusticity of Clos-Vougeot. This wine does have structure and has black raspberry fruit typical of Clos-Vougeot with good purity, nice acidic support, and good length. (12/30/14)"
91-93 points Stephen Tanzer (Vinous): "Good deep red. Wild black cherry, licorice, crushed herbs, earth and a smoky nuance on the nose. Sweet on entry, then cool and medicinal in the mid-palate, with black cherry and licorice flavors dominating. Faiveley will bottle this very backward wine considerably later than the Echézeaux, probably in June, notes Hervet. Finishes quite tight, with a serious tannic spine calling for extended cellaring. Drink: 2025-2038. (Jan 2015)"
92 points Wine Spectator: "[$289 list] A high-toned, kirsch- and strawberry-flavored red, with a lean, taut structure. Stays compact on the finish, but should relax in due time as the fruit, acidity and tannins meld. Best from 2019 through 2032. 65 cases imported. (5/31/16)"
