94-98 points Fine Wine Review: "Last, the Chambertin-Clos de Bèze is denser than the previous two with stony and floral elements, and notable intensity and depth. The wine comes across as a combination of the Latricières and Mazis (and of course, it is from vines between those two vineyards). Average vine age is 50 years and they are divided between two plots, one at the top of the vineyard, the other at the bottom. (Issue #141; 2014)"

96.5 points CellarTracker.com community score.

93-96 points and 'Don't miss!' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "A spicy, fresh and highly restrained nose offers up aromas of both red and dark berry fruit, earth, sandalwood and a touch of the sauvage. There is the same fine complexity to the detailed, punchy, powerful and gorgeously textured flavors that possess imposing size and weight yet the finish is a model of grace, balance and refinement. This is not particularly austere but it is going to require extended cellaring before it is ready so I would advise buying this only if you have the patience to cellar it for at least 12 years and more would be better. Drink: 2032+. (Jan 2014)"

95+ points Stephen Tanzer (Vinous): "[$473/750ml list] Bright medium red. Multidimensional nose offers scents of raspberry, cherry, exotic spices, rose petal and dried flowers. Compellingly chewy and sappy on the palate yet somehow silky too, showing outstanding energy and lift to its lightly saline flavors of dark fruits, blood orange, minerals and licorice. Finishes with a serious tannic spine and terrific lift and length. A complete young grand cru Burgundy with extract to burn. Drink: 2025-2042. (Mar 2015)"

94 points Bruce Sanderson (Wine Spectator): "[$473/750ml list] This is tight and reticent, featuring black cherry and blackberry fruit locked up by dense, burly tannins, with spice and mineral notes adding depth. Finishes with balance and sweet fruit. Just needs time. Best from 2019 through 2035. 60 cases imported. (5/31/15)"
