89-92 points Jasper Morris, MW: "Dense mid purple, with a rather toasty nose, this probably needs racking. Not too massive, a little bit lactic, good length, balanced acidity, fresh raspberry and some sweeter red cherry notes. Picked early, at 13.5%. Tasted: November 2020."

89-92 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): "A mildly reduced nose still seems both fresh and ripe thanks to the excellent vibrancy of the nicely concentrated and tautly muscular flavors that possess a beguiling underlying tension that carries over to the youthfully austere and sneaky long finish. This firmly structured effort will require at least a decade to reach its peak. Drink: 2029+. (Jan 2021)"
