95-97 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2020 Vosne-Romanée Les Beaux Monts 1er Cru is so refined and focused on the nose, not a hair out of place, the oak seamlessly integrated. Real panache. The palate is medium-bodied with filigree tannins, perfectly pitched acidity, very pure and velvety with an expansive and detailed finish. Just beautiful. Drink: 2026-2050. (Dec 2021)"

95 points Charles Curtis, MW (Decanter): "A deeply coloured, profusely aromatic wine, with notes of blackberry and plum, accented with spice and mineral. The texture is dense and concentrated, but balanced with bright acidity to give it plenty of depth and draw it out to a rewardingly long finish. A serious wine worth cellaring for as long as you can stand to wait. From a 0.72ha parcel at the bottom part of Beaux Monts which is generally considered superior. Drinking Window: 2025-2050. (Oct 2021)"

95 points Sarah Marsh, MW (The World of Fine Wine): "Ripe forest-fruit aroma. Straight attack, with juicy succulence and a rich concentration of dark-cherry fruit, but remains fine-boned and pure, and it sings with freshness. Vibrant and fizzles with energy on the finish. 2028-40. (2022)"

92-95 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "Racked to tank in preparation for bottling. One of the darker colours, some reduction on the first nose but this can’t keep the fruit energy down. Fine deep red cherry fruit, loads of energy here, still such a baby. (Dec 2021)"

94 points Christy Canterbury, MW (TimAtkin.com): "Showing some attractive reduction, the palate tastes of black plums, pomegranates and subtle spice. The tannins are caressing, yet the acidity is vivid. This shows the freshness of Les Beaux Monts with a bit more oomph of fruit than some other wines from this Premier Cru, making it quite a crowd-pleaser. 2024-35. (2022)"

92-94 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "Offering up aromas of wild berries, orange rind, plums, exotic spices and rose petals, the 2020 Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Les Beaux Monts is medium to full-bodied, lively and layered, with fine concentration, ripe and powdery tannins and a long, perfumed finish. (Jan 2022)"

92-94 points/'Don't miss!' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from a parcel of .24 ha on the Flagey side). Like the Gruenchers, the elegant and pure nose is highly perfumed and exuberantly spicy with cool aromas of both red and dark berries, exotic tea and a whisper of sandalwood. The strikingly textured medium-bodied flavors brim with both dry extract and minerality while exhibiting focused power on the youthfully austere, dusty and beautifully balanced finale. Excellent. Drink: 2032+. (Jan 2022)"

93 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The 2020 Domaine Dujac Beaux Monts was showing gorgeously at the time of my visit. The beautifully sappy nose jumps from the glass in a blend of black raspberries, gamebird, bitter chocolate, dark soil tones, woodsmoke, Vosne spices and vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is pure, full-bodied, focused and nascently complex, with a beautiful core of fruit, lovely transparency and bounce, fine-grained tannins and a long, superbly balanced finish. Also assembled in tank. 2033-2080. (Nov/Dec 2021)"
