95-97 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2021 Vosne-Romanée Aux Malconsorts 1er Cru has a little more fruit intensity on the nose; it is slightly darker by direct comparison. Fine delineation, quite bold in the context of the vintage. The palate is very intense, fine acidity, very sensual with just a hint of dark chocolate and black truffle shavings on the finish. Wonderful. Drink: 2026-2046. (Jan 2023)"

94-96 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "Darkish purple colour. The nose is too reduced to speak at first, but the red fruit powers on through. The palate has everything it really should, with a level of energy and waves of fruit over and above the delightful Beaux Monts. Just the right acidity to finish. Drink from 2027-2035. (Dec 2022)"

95 points Christy Canterbury, MW (TimAtkin.com): "This is the smallest cuvée of Malconsorts that Dujac has made from these vines planted in 1995, in 1976 and in the 1960s. It is a bit cranky now with notable reduction and edgy, leafy freshness. However, the structure is marvelous thanks to the tangy acidity and creamy, lush tannins. Whole cluster spice, ripe red cherries and tobacco fill up the long finish. Give this a few years. (2023)"

93-94 points Steen Öhman (Winehog): "The Malconsorts is a lovely wine, but is far from matching the mind-blowing 2020. It’s nevertheless a lovely glass, offering good energy and a vivid note of pinot. This is spicy and lively, showing the best traits of the 2021 vintage. Quite reduced currently, it’s a wine not for points, but for pleasure. Drink from 2035. (10/11/22)"

92-94 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "Aromas of dark berries, smoked duck, spices and petals preface Dujac's 2021 Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Aux Malconsorts, a medium to full-bodied, rich and fleshy wine that's structured and compact, standing out as one of the most backward, but also among the most promising, cuvées in the cellar. (Jan 2023)"

93+ points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "Our sample of the 2021 Malconsorts was a bit reductive at the time of the tasting, but with some coaxing, it eventually blossomed quite nicely to offer up scents of cherries, red plums, duck, chocolate, a nice touch of stems, a lovely base of soil, woodsmoke and vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is pure, full-bodied and nicely plush at the core, with fine soil inflection, suave tannins and a long, complex and seamlessly balanced finish, A lovely Malconsorts in the making. 2035-2090. (Nov/Dec 2022)"

93 points Charles Curtis, MW (Decanter): "Dujac’s ’21 Malconsorts is a massive wine. The colour is deep, and the nose is showing considerable reduction. Behind these reduced aromas, however, there is a lovely brambly, blackcurrant fruit with plenty of depth. The texture has a marvelously silky, supple feel; still, there is plenty of tannin to ensure that this wine will age for years. The grapes come from the 1.57-hectare parcel that includes a portion of Vosne-Romanée Les Gaudichots on the border with La Tâche. Drinking Window: 2027-2050. (Nov 2022)"
