94 points Charles Curtis, MW (Decanter): "The nose of the the blended Morey premier cru from domaine parcels has pronounced and nuanced aromas of blackberry and raspberry fruit with a suggestion of spice and earth. There is a slight hint of reduction that should disappear at bottling, and the texture is pleasantly round and silky soft. The grapes come from a blend of lieux-dits that include Les Charrieres, Les Millandes, Les Ruchots, and Clos Sorbè; the total surface area is 0.82 hectares, all picked 27 - 28 September. Drinking Window: 2025-2045. (Nov 2022)"

90-93 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "53% destemmed, 47% whole bunches. A lovely depth of colour, with a high-class nose, dark raspberry fruit to the fore. Sweetish raspberry and strawberry on the palate, a little pepper behind, still finding its way, with a slightly drier though persistent finish. Drink from 2027-2033. (Dec 2022)"

92+ points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The 2021 Morey St. Denis 'Premier Cru' from Domaine Dujac is a lovely example of the vintage. The bouquet wafts from the glass in a complex blend of red plums, cherries, beetroot, a refined base of soil, sweet stem tones, coffee, mustard seed and vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is pure, elegant and full-bodied, with fine depth at the core, lovely transparency and grip, suave tannins, impeccable balance and a long, complex and vibrant finish. This has excellent backend lift. 2035-2085. (Nov/Dec 2022)"

92 points Christy Canterbury, MW (TimAtkin.com) (2023).

90-92 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "A cuvée that's often the insiders' choice chez Dujac, the 2021 Morey-Saint-Denis 1er Cru has turned out well, mingling aromas of plums and berries with hints of baking spice and orange rind. Medium to full-bodied, ample and fleshy, it's layered and textural, with sweet tannins, lively acids and a perfumed finish. (Jan 2023)"

91 points Steen Öhman (Winehog): "The Morey 1er Cru is also reduced, but has lovely, pure fruit that is discernible through the reduction. It’s more tightly wound, and with less ripeness. Still, this has fine clarity and energy, and is a lovely effort with a good hedonistic touch. Drink from 2028. (10/11/22)"
