The wine’s gorgeous inner fragrance and impossibly fine tannins are first-rate. This is another dazzling wine from Dujac. Anticipated maturity: 2019-2034. (May 2011)"

With time in the glass, some of the layers of fruit begin to flesh out, showing the depth I sensed when I tasted the wine from barrel. The bouquet is deep, pure and very, very complex for such a young wine, as it offers up scents of red plums, red and black cherries, vinesmoke, gamebirds, really lovely minerality, a touch of fresh thyme and a deft framing of new oak. On the palate the wine is deep, fullish and very intensely flavored, with a lovely core of fruit, impeccable focus and balance, fine-grained tannins and a very long, complex and bouncy finish.
