It has a very seductive bouquet with crème de cassis, blueberry and crushed violet aromas that are extremely pure, perhaps with a touch of more glycerine than other cuvées from Dugat-Py. The palate is rich and opulent on the entry but the acidity keeps everything in check. There is a lot of weight here, grippy and sweet, almost heady towards the finish, yet the freshness remains intact. Give it a decade if you can, in bottle. Drink: 2025-2040. (Jan 2019)"
