91-94 points/'Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "A more deeply pitched nose somewhat grudgingly offers up its array of poached plum, black cherry, spice and pretty violet whiffs. As would be expected, there is better volume to the sappy and equally refined medium weight flavors that also exude a subtle bead of minerality that adds a sense of lift to the impressively powerful, balanced and strikingly long finale.
