96 points Tim Atkin, MW (2018).
93-95 points Stephen Tanzer (Vinous): "Pale yellow-green. Urgent aromas of white peach, soft citrus fruits and iodine. Silky on entry, then less fat in the middle than the Grenouille, communicating a wonderfully fine-grained texture without any impression of weight. This wine leads with its intense fruit right now but it's extremely young. The slowly mounting, detailed finish and impression of calcaire energy suggest that it will display more minerality with time in the cellar. (Aug 2017)"
94 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "Mid primrose with an attractive, ripe, juicy and quite deep fruit, peaches and fresh apricots behind, rather less oak than many, and fair length - but not quite the chiselled purity of a great Clos. The intensity is more than respectable though. DIAM 10 closure. Tasted: May 2019."
93+ points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "The 2016 Chablis Grand Cru Les Clos is the most reserved and monolithic of Drouin's 2016s but also potentially the finest, unfurling in the glass with notes of ripe citrus fruit, smoke and clove spice. On the palate, it's full-bodied, rich and chewy, with a blocky, foursquare profile that encompasses considerable depth and substance. It will require time, and it isn't very charming right now, but it shows plenty of promise. Drink: 2020-2033. (Aug 2018)"
