95 points Charles Curtis MW (Decanter): "Roulot's 2023 Clos des Bouchères is impossibly seductive, boasting a ripe pear fruit aroma with a floral note and hints of coconut water, flinty minerality, and smoky reduction. Winemaker Paul Delorme notes that the Clos des Bouchères is a stony vineyard, similar to Perrières. The texture is powerful, concentrated, and yet elegant with its saline edge. According to Delorme, the trick is to put the lees into suspension with a quick stirring before malolactic and then leave it alone since Roulot wants to bottle when the wine is slightly reductive. Drinking window 2025-2045 (May 2024)"

(93-95) points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "The 2023 Meursault 1er Cru Clos des Bouchères is lovely, offering up aromas of nutmeg, orange zest, white flowers, freshly baked bread and struck match, followed by a medium to full-bodied, satiny and racy palate that's pure, electric and saline. (Jan 2025)"

(93-95) points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2023 Meursault Clos des Bouchères 1er Cru has a cohesive bouquet with wonderful purity, but maybe the debuting Genevrières has a little more mineralité and bandwidth. The palate is very well balanced with lovely poise and purity, hints of praline and grilled walnut furnishing the persistent finish that lingers in the mouth. This will vie with the Genevrières in the future—it's fascinating to compare the duo. Drink 2026-2048 (Jan 2025)"

92-95 points & 'Sweet spot Outstanding' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "From a 1.37 ha parcel. Elegant, cool and restrained aromas of pear essence, jasmine tea, hazelnut and a hint of petrol are trimmed in pretty floral wisps. There is fine mid-palate density to the middle super-sleek and lilting weight flavors that possess a beguiling texture while the impressively long and complex finale is supported by firm lemon-tinged acidity. This is outstanding and classic Bouchères, e.g., a wine of finesse. Drink 2035+ (Jun 2025)"

92-94 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "Mid lemon yellow. This has all the aromatics, very generous, even quite fleshy on the palate with ripe lemons bringing up the rear. More comes back behind just as you think it’s over. Picked on 30th August at just 12.35% alcohol, but before the acidity started to diminish. Drink from 2029-2036. Tasted Oct 2024."
