While they grow some Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, Domaine du Pélican focuses on grapes native to the Jura, like Savagnin, Trousseau, and Poulsard. With Savagnin from two of Jura’s best vineyards - Grand Curoulet and Au Barby - this wine is focused, citrusy, and thirst quenching. It tastes more like great Chenin Blanc than Chardonnay, and would be great with seafood or anything fried.
