93-95+ points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "The 2020 Corton Grand Cru La Vigne Au Saint is deep and brooding, unfurling in the glass with aromas of sweet berry fruit, cherries, rich spices, loamy soil and hints of violet. Full-bodied, layered and muscular, it's concentrated and tightly knit, with plenty of ripe, powdery tannins and considerable potential for the long term. It will require more patience, however, than Croix's Beaune bottlings. (Jan 2022)"

94 points Charles Curtis, MW (Decanter): "Lovely, ripe cherry fruit with floral accents, a supple, polished texture and a lovely finesse that carries through the lingering finish. This small subsection of Corton Grand Cru has just two other owners besides David Croix - Méo-Camuzet and Latour. The vines are located at the base of the slope at the end of the grand cru section of Aloxe. The 0.29ha parcel ripened well and the fruit was fermented with a moderate inclusion of whole clusters prior to ageing in used casks. Drinking Window: 2025-2050. (Nov 2021)"

92-94 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "Dark black with a purple rim. La Vigne au Saint 2020 has an exceptionally intense bouquet right from the outset. This is one of the riper wines, given 40% whole bunch vinification, but it doesn’t show as much. 14.4% alcohol with a low 3.45 pH. Thick in texture, this is just a baby hiding away until maturity. (Oct 2021)"

91-93 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2020 Corton La Vigne Au Saint Grand Cru has 40% whole bunch. It is well-defined on the bouquet, quite Côtes de Nuits like with scents of raspberry and hints of cassis. The palate is medium-bodied and quite expressive, fine acidity with pretty black plum and wild strawberry with quite a fleshy finish. Very fine. Drink: 2025-2045. (Dec 2021)"

91-93 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): "This too is really quite aromatically pretty with its airy if slightly riper mix of black raspberry, cherry, poached plum, warm earth and hints of the sauvage. The super-sleek and almost painfully intense larger-scaled flavors possess fine length on the dusty, firm and austere finish that could use better depth. With that duly noted, there is sufficient underlying material that more complexity should develop in time. Drink: 2032+. (Apr 2022)"
