Stacks of black fruit aromas, but not a jot loud. Extremely long, structured finish that somehow manages to be totally engaging, almost charming. From the Aux Caves site, which is south-facing and has a sandy granitic soil. This is 100% whole cluster. Matured in used oak barrels from Burgundy for just under a year. Drink or hold. (5/08/24)"
