96 points Tyson Stelzer (The Champagne Guide): "(tasted in 2023 in France; Since 2008, 100% of the six grand crus of the Cote des Blancs; 20% Le Mesnil-sur-Oger for purity and chalk minerality, 20% Avize for balance and structure, 20% Oger for warmth, body and generosity, Cramant for smoky minerality, Chouilly for robustness and length and Oiry for acidity and roundness; disgorged April 2021; 6.5g/L dosage; 80,000 bottles, just 10% of the 800,000 bottle production of the house). An expressive and pure 2014 of tension and poise that unites the white fruit definition of an impressive core of almost ripe white peach, beurre bosc pear, lemon and grapefruit with hints of fennel and white pepper of impressive primary purity. Pronounced, fine, frothy salt minerality washes magnificently with pristine acid drive to drive a long finish of impressive line and poise beautifully softened by the creamy texture of lees age. Outstanding line and length define one of the great vintages for Delamotte, capturing the energy of 2014 with the concentration and endurance of fabled crus. Seamless, long and pure, with great potential for the medium-term. (Edition VII; 2024)"

95 points Falstaff Guide: "Light straw yellow, silver reflections, fine, persistent mousse. Delicate biscuit and lime zest, subtle yellow tropical fruit is underlying, chalky minerality, attractive bouquet. Taut, tightly meshed, white apple, nice acidity, light-footed and yet very good persistence, a gastronomic champagne with good aging potential. (9/30/22)"

94+ points Sarah Mayo (The Wine Independent): "Delamotte Blanc de Blancs 2014 is an assemblage of six Grand Cru terroir that was disgorged October 2022 and finished with a seven gram per liter dosage. Light burnished gold with a pinpoint, vibrant bead, the 2014 flaunts alluring aromas of lemon confit, poached yellow apple, white flowers, and brioche with hints of white pepper. Medium-bodied with a textured, open-knit palate of plush orchard fruit and racy acid vibrancy, it has a long, mineral finish. Alcohol 12.5%. Drink: 2023-2035. (11/8/23)"

94 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "Delamotte's just-released 2014 Blanc de Blancs has turned out very well indeed, opening in the glass with scents of citrus zest, crisp orchard fruit, fresh bread and wet stones. Medium to full-bodied, chiseled and incisive, with excellent depth at the core, racy acids and a chalky finish, this isn't as muscular as the 2008 or 2012, but it has real cut and persistence and should age very gracefully indeed. Drink: 2023-2040. (Sep 2021)"

94 points Antonio Galloni (Vinous): "The 2014 Blanc de Blancs is seriously impressive. Ample in feel, Delamotte is especially rich in 2014, and yet there is plenty of freshness to balance things out. This is an especially savory style for Delamotte, and one that works so well. Dried lemon peel, pastry, almond, dried herbs and chamomile open in a beautifully translucent Blanc des Blancs that marries power and finesse. I can’t wait to see how it ages. Drink: 2024-2039. (Nov 2021)"

94 points Yohan Castaing (Decanter): "Offering up an elegant yet bright bouquet, this 2014 Delamotte Blanc de Blancs opens in the glass with orchard fruits, verbena, lemon zest, pastry, and slightly reductive aromas. Chiselled and perfectly balanced, the palate is lively and intense, and expresses clearly the fruit and the straightforward nature of the 2014 vintage. Should age well for a decade or so. Drinking Window: 2021-2025. (Sep 2021)"

94 points James Suckling: "Really bright and energetic, with sliced apples and lemons and seashells on the nose. Some flint, too. Full-bodied, yet very tight and composed, with racy phenolics and bright acidity. Very long and vivid. Sort of edgy and energetic. Bright blanc de blancs. Drink now. (7/11/22)"

92-94 points Essi Avellan, MW: "Such a consistent wine from vintage to another, Delamotte Blanc de Blancs brings together the six Grands Crus of the Côte des Blancs. Pristinely crafted, the wine is squeaky clean and radiant, with cool, crunchy lemony fruit at centre stage. Beautiful reductive smoky tones lining the intense fruitiness. The racy palate is pleasantly creamy and silky with a lingering long finish. (Jul 2021)"

93 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): ": (100% chardonnay, SRP $132, disgorged January 2021). An elegant, airy and complex nose offers up plenty of that lovely toasty/yeasty character that adds interest to the pretty aromas of pear, apple and just sliced citrus. There is equally good depth to the delicious, intense and rich medium-bodied flavors that are supported by a firm and moderately fine mousse, all wrapped in a lingering, sappy and nicely dry finish. This is really quite classy and despite being relatively young, this is already drinking well. With that said, I would be inclined to cellar it for another 3 to 5 years first. Drink: 2024+ . (Jan 2022)"

93 points/'Blanc de Blancs Vintage Champagne of the Year 2022,' Tom Hewson (TimAtkin.com): "Chardonnay from the six Grand Crus of the Côte des Blancs. Stainless steel with full MLF. A classic, savoury toasted sourdough richness signals some stylishness here, with lime and lemon syrup held in sharp focus by some sparky, reductive gunpowder aromas and charred grapefruit. The palate sits on a cushion of ground nut and white butter softness, but it's moving with a zippy, pressing sort of energy that is very true to 2014. Some call this a miniSalon on the basis that it eputedly receives the grapes Salon rejects in some years; it's really a rather different style that stands on its own two feet. (Dec 2022)"

92 points Wine Spectator: "[$132 list] A finely-meshed, linear Champagne, with racy acidity and a citrusy overtone driving flavors of poached apricot, biscuit, candied lemon peel and a toasty hint of brioche. Fine and creamy. Drink now through 2026. (11/15/21)"

92 points La Revue du Vin de France: "The aromas and flavors of the 2014 perfectly reflect the profile of the vintage. It's very different from the 2012 we tasted last year. The wine is long and lean, benefiting from a year that doesn't play the power card, and which matches the chardonnay's long, lively finish. For all that, this precise, upright wine doesn't turn austere. (2023)"
