95 points Christy Canterbury, MW (TimAtkin.com): "Intensely flinty with pretty apple skin top notes, this also shows a whisper of brioche and leesiness. There is almost a muscular concentration – unusual in this vintage – that nicely complements the textured, mealy mid-palate. This would benefit from a few years in bottle. This is the 10th vintage this wine has been made under the de Montille label, previously in the Château de Puligny-Montrachet stable. (2023)"

94 points Charles Curtis, MW (Decanter): "This thrilling wine shows typical Perrières quality in the best Meursault style, starting with a fairly marked smoky reductive note and lots of lemony fruit on the initial attack with an underpinning of mineral and floral notes. The texture has lots of tension and freshness but enough plump density to prevent it from seeming shrill. It was made from the parcel of nearly a half-hectare at the top of Perrières acquired with the Château de Puligny-Montrachet. Drinking Window: 2025-2040. (Nov 2022)"

92-94 points/'Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from a .45 ha parcel). Discreet notes of wood and petrol add breadth to the cool and pure aromas of citrus, acacia blossom, lilac, wet stone and just sliced green apple. There is almost painful intensity to the very tightly wound and almost aggressively mineral-driven flavors that culminate in a youthfully austere and strikingly long finale. This is pretty much a textbook Perrières of impeccable balance. Drink: 2031+. (Jun 2023)"

91-93 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2021 Meursault Les Perrières 1er Cru has a superb bouquet with wonderful mineralité that clearly defines the climat. The palate is very well balanced, linear and tensile, elegant and poised towards the finish with a touch of lemon sherbet on the aftertaste. Very classy. Drink: 2025-2045. (Jan 2023)"

90-93 points Jasper Morris MW (Inside Burgundy): "4 barrels instead of 9 after late pruning. Fuller yellow. A surprising opulence for the vintage, quite ripe, a little touch of bacon fat. Power, muscles, acidity, slightly yellow fruit, not quite the free flow of the best wines, and does it quite fill the back of the palate? Drink from 2026-2032. (Oct 2022)"
