93-95 points Jasper Morris MW (Inside Burgundy): "Bright clean yellow. Reductive and toastily oaked together. Plenty of power, oak having a slightly dry effect but there is enough fruit to surmount this in due course. Quite a powerful beast for the vintage, plenty to follow here with all the right constituent parts. 60% down compared to 2022. Drink from 2027-2035. (Oct 2022)"
91-94 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from a 1.1ha holding in Pougets). Here the nose is quite firmly reduced and revealing nothing of interest. More appealing are the dense broad-shouldered yet refined flavors that are built on a base of firm minerality while delivering excellent length on the crisp, chiseled and youthfully austere finale. This is a classically styled CC that is definitely built to age and a wine that's going to need at least 5 to 7 years of keeping first. Drink: 2033+. (Apr 2023)"
