95 points Monica Larner (Wine Advocate): "This estate shows consistently excellent results and makes another strong showing with this set of wines. The 2015 Amarone della Valpolicella Classico is a textbook rendition of contemporary Amarone. The blend is 60% Corvina, 20% Corvinone, 17% Rondinella and 3% Oseleta. The grapes see 90 days of appassimento. The wine is aged in barrique for 24 months. This is a real crowd-pleaser, with bright fruit tones, dark cherry, plum, tender raisins, spice, smoke and teriyaki spice. They really did a great job with this one. There is tightness and definition here with cracked black pepper and cardamom seed. You could even uncork one right away with a spicy Mongolian barbecue. Some 13,000 bottles were made. Drink Now-2029. (Aug 2019)"
