An old school Frulian producer located right on the border with Italy, making non-interventionist and very rustic wines. A blend primarily of Merlot with some addition of Cabernet Sauvignon, all farmed organically. The wine exhibits powerful tannins, noticeable green notes, influence of large old oak, and a briney funk that is very charming to those who like natty tasting wines. All native yeasts, no fining or filtering and nothing is added save a tiny does of sulfites at bottling.
