Colin-Morey bought it in 1996 when he was working with his dad and replanted it 20 years ago. Even the village wines are on slopes in St-Aubin. Tank sample.Very slightly reductive giving a flinty note on the nose. Typical for St-Aubin in this vintage, and more generally, he notes. Sulphur-related compounds contribute to the aroma (but not SO2). On the palate, tight and juicy and generous in citrus but also that flinty note. There’s a depth and ripeness of citrus but also that lovely tension, rounded off with a gentle creaminess. Drink: 2023-2028. (11/21/19)"
