Millerand but open bunches, grapes with tight skins, so Bruno tells us. Little bilberry and myrtle notes which are evident even at harvest time. 92-94 points/'Sweet spot/Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "This is often aromatically restrained but in 2020 it's quite expressive with its pretty blend of mostly red berries, spice and rose petal scents. There is excellent punch, minerality and precision to the medium weight flavors that possess a chalky texture before terminating in an almost painfully intense finale that goes on and on. This overtly austere effort is excellent but note well that it's quite firmly structured and I would advise that if you choose to buy it, then forget you own it for at least a decade. Drink: 2035+.
