96 points La Revue du Vin de France (2024).

94-96 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "Crimson purple, with a very pure nose, dense and classy while retaining its freshness. Here the fruit touches every part of the palate and is very complete with a lovely aftertaste of ripe plum and a little raspberry. Balanced and very persistent. Drink from 2030-2040. Tasted: November 2023."

93-96 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "The 2022 Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru Les Saint-Georges is the king of the cellar, exhibiting beautiful aromas of raspberries, blood orange, sweet spices, peonies, licorice and vine smoke, followed by a medium to full-bodied, seamless and complete palate that's deep and layered, with a vibrant core of fruit, supple tannins and a long, perfumed finish. (1/18/24)"

93-95 points/'Sweet spot/Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from a .60 ha parcel of 75+ year old vines). Here the wood influence is also nicely subtle on the floral and spice-inflected red pinot, cherry and soft earth-suffused aromas. There is good detail to the bigger, richer and more obviously muscular flavors that manage to remain reasonably refined on the youthfully austere, refreshing and lightly stony finish that is compact, powerful and very clearly built-to-age. This is very much a 'buy and forget' LSG but one that eventually should be well-worth the wait. In a word, outstanding. Drink: 2037+. (Jan 2024)"

93-95 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2022 Nuits Saint-Georges Les Saint-Georges 1er Cru has impressive purity on the nose. It takes a few swirls of the glass to get motoring, but there is fine delineation, quite precocious black fruit mixed with dried iris and violets. The palate is medium-bodied with succulent ripe tannins matched by a silver bead of acidity. Quite tensile, it is slightly powdery towards the finish, fanning out in a confident fashion. Give it four or five years to assimilate the oak - it's a serious and compelling Les Saint-Georges. Drink: 2028-2052. (Jan 2024)"
