92-95 points Fine Wine Review: "The nose of the Pruliers is smoky and mineral. The mouth is pure and lovely with deep, fresh dark fruits and real penetration. Round tannins. (3/27/20)"

94 points Tim Atkin, MW.

92-94 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "Aromas of plums, wild berries, smoked meats and violets introduce the Chevillon brothers' 2018 Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru Les Pruliers, a medium to full-bodied, succulent and enveloping wine with an ample core of fruit that cloaks ripe but chalky structuring tannins that only assert themselves on the finish. This is a very serious cuvée that's built for the cellar.(Feb 2020)"

92-94 points Jasper Morris, MW: "Not the deepest of colours, a vibrant fresh purple. Altogether a more tightly knit wine after the Perrières, less ripe in the aromatics. The palate offers an intensity of deep pure ripe cherry fruit, with an attractive chalky texture at the finish. Tasted: November 2019."

92-94 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2018 Nuits Saint-Georges Les Pruliers 1er Cru has a very perfumed and floral bouquet with wilted rose petal and touches of lavender infusing the mainly red berry fruit. I appreciate the detail and delineation of this N.S.G. The palate is very fine and matched with a superb line of acidity, the lively red fruit laced with subtle hickory and white pepper notes, fanning out nicely toward the finish while maintaining superb freshness. This is perhaps the most immediately enjoyable of Chevillon’s 2018s. Drink: 2022-2042. (Jan 2020)"

93+ points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The 2018 Pruliers chez Chevillon is a stunning wine in the making. It has a simply gorgeous bouquet, coupled to a broad-shouldered, well-balanced and very powerful palate. The nose soars from the glass in a blaze of red and black cherries, black plums, dark chocolate, venison, woodsmoke, dark soil tones, new oak and a nice touch of violet in the upper register. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and very powerful in personality, with a bottomless core of pure fruit, excellent soil signature, ripe, firm tannins and a very, very long, nascently complex finish. This is a superb vintage of Pruliers in the making. 2035-2080. (Nov/Dec 2019)"
