91-93 points/'Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from a .60 ha parcel of 40+ year old vines). A subtle but not invisible application of wood sets off more deeply pitched aromas of plum, dark currant and a hint of forest floor. There is both more volume and power, if a bit less refinement, to the attractively textured medium-bodied flavors that possess the classic youthful austerity of a classic Bousselots. This too is lovely though note well it is built-to-age. Drink: 2034+. (Jan 2024)"

91-93 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "Aromas of cherries, dark berries, plums, raw cocoa and spices introduce the 2022 Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru Les Bousselots, a medium to full-bodied, velvety and layered wine with supple tannins, lively acids and a sapid finish. 91-93 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "Mid purple with a dense crunchy red fruit, plenty of oak too, but not out of degree. The fruit-acid balance also is in harmony. The finish is just a little firm, though, with medium length. Drink from 2030-2037. Tasted: November 2023."

91-93 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2022 Nuits Saint-Georges Les Bousselottes 1er Cru has a sensual and generous bouquet: more red fruit character than the Chaignots, redcurrant and macerated small red cherries with touches of pressed violet. Again, the palate is composed on the entry, quite opulent and sensual. It retains control and focus towards the finish with a touch of white pepper and bay leaf. Lovely. Drink: 2027-2048. (Jan 2024)"
