Weather conditions: the year started out much colder than average, then had abundant rainfall through to the month of April. Then dry weather took over until August, giving rise to very healthy grapes with thick skin and firm clusters. In late August, stormy, rainy weather alternated with sunshine, and the harvest began early, around 20 September. Alcohol content at bottling: 46.5%. Distillation date: November 2006. Grape Varieties: Colombard 66%, Ugni blanc 34%. Tasting Notes:Caramel candy nose on a citrus freshness (orange, clementine) with hints of white pepper. The palate is dominated by floral notes, very fresh, almost minty, and the finish is sweet and vanilla. Nice length.
