45% Cabernet Franc, 45% Syrah, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. Château Belle-Vue is a family-owned micro winery which produces 20,000 bottles annually from 24 hectares of mountainside vineyards overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. Organic agricultural practices and fermentation using only natural yeast are standard procedure. High-altitude, dry farmed vines produce fruit of outstanding concentration, lending the wines extraordinary color, structure and length in the mouth. Nose: Ripened dark red fruits with soft vanilla, cloves and warm spice. Palate: Well-integrated tannins. Dark red fruits accompany candied orange peel, cocoa warm spices and leather notes. Beautifully long finish. Natural fermentation, with no added yeast, lasts three to four weeks and takes place in stainless steel tanks. Barrel aging, again by varietal, extends over 24 months in new French oak. The blended wine is bottled and aged again for at least two years before release.
