This Pinot Blanc comes from the valley vineyards around Bockenheimer hill. Pinot Blanc is often a little misunderstood. Its name German name, “WeissBurgunder,” means white Burgundy, referring to its similarity in the way it drinks. It is often full bodied and dry with a richer mouthfeel. This does have more of a zippy and fruity character that makes the wine its own, completely separate from white Burgundy wine. Dry and refreshing - aromas of white flowers and green apples. Medium bodied with citrus fruit, coriander, gooseberry, noticeable minerality and a focused finish. A great white to always have in the fridge for when company pops in.
