The initial attack has abundant pink grapefruit, lemon peel, and spice aromas. The fruit continues on the palate with a marked ripeness, what the French would call sucrosité, but the wine is bone dry, with a lively acidity that highlights the complexity of the finish. The grapes are slowly pressed and fermented in cask, where the wine will age for 16 – 18 months. Drink this over the next 10 to 15 years. Drinking Window: 2025-2045. (5/30/23)"

The mouthfeel of the medium-bodied flavors is finer still with a lovely delicacy that seems to become more apparent on the intensely mineral-driven finish that is laser-like in its definition. This is not a particularly dense wine, but the finesse is marvelous so if you enjoy subtlety, this is a wine for you. Drink: 2030+. (Jun 2024)"
