93-95 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2022 Meursault Genevrières 1er Cru has an intense, minerally bouquet with touches of chalk, yellow plum and light blood orange aromas. The palate is well-balanced, one of Bouzereau's more powerful cuvées with impressive persistence and a sapid aftertaste. The pedigree of the terroir really comes through in this Meursault. Drink: 2025-2047. (Jan 2024)"

92-95 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "Pale colour with a light green tint. This is more detailed but less intense on the nose, characteristics which continue on the palate. Delightful nuances, a good thread of ripe acidity, some ripe lemon notes towards the back of the palate. A wine that needs more reflection than the Charmes, but delivers. Only the style, not the quality separates them. Very long finish. (Oct 2023)"

94 points Charles Curtis, MW (Decanter): "Bouzereau's delicious Genevrières comes from a half-hectare in Genevrières Dessous. The initial attack has abundant pink grapefruit, lemon peel, and spice aromas. The fruit continues on the palate with a marked ripeness, what the French would call sucrosité, but the wine is bone dry, with a lively acidity that highlights the complexity of the finish. The grapes are slowly pressed and fermented in cask, where the wine will age for 16 – 18 months. Drink this over the next 10 to 15 years. Drinking Window: 2025-2045. (5/30/23)"

91-94 points/'Sweet spot/Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from a .52 ha parcel). There is just enough reduction to blur the nuances of the exotic tea aromas. The mouthfeel of the medium-bodied flavors is finer still with a lovely delicacy that seems to become more apparent on the intensely mineral-driven finish that is laser-like in its definition. This is not a particularly dense wine, but the finesse is marvelous so if you enjoy subtlety, this is a wine for you. Drink: 2030+. (Jun 2024)"
