95 points Charles Curtis, MW (Decanter): "The 2023 Meursault Genevrières from Domaine Michel Bouzereau seems richer than last year, with more melon and mirabelle plum aromas than citrus; the fruit is complemented by notes of anise and a hint of honey. The texture is creamy, and although the acidity is balanced at best, the extract of this enormous wine carries it to a lingering finish. The grapes are from 0.52ha in Genevrières-Dessous, planted in the late 80s. Although this is a dense and powerful style, it should drink well over the next 15 years. Drinking Window: 2025-2040. (10/29/24)"
93-95 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2023 Meursault Genevrières 1er Cru has a wonderfully detailed bouquet with crushed stone filtering through the citrus fruit. The palate is very classy with a superb thread of acidity yet retains a sense of control, as if saving something for later. This is judiciously spiced, and its pithy finish has greater complexity than the preceding Charmes-Dessus. On par with last year's excellent release. Drink: 2027-2048. (Jan 2025)"
92-94 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "Pale lemon in colour. This has a little more herbal nature, more aromatic distinction, very classy on the palate as well with plenty of energy. Juicy as well, but this has classic proportions. Drink from 2028-2035. Tasted Oct 2024."
