98 points La Revue du Vin de France: "Corcelette Cailloux is in a class of its own, with a bewitching nose that makes this a wine of remarkable class. (2024)"

94 points/'5 Star Wine,' Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "From magnum. Well, I as much as I adored the sandy version, this goes the extra yard. Not just a more intense and vital purple, but in the intensity of the bouquet. Not quite so old vines, but not far off. There is a natural harmony through the middle of the palate, then a slightly more austere finish. The Cailloux bottling will need longer to come round. It does not take long to smooth out in the glass, but this is a real vin de garde. Drink from 2027-2040. Tasted: February 2024."

93+ points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The 2022 Morgon “Corcelette Cailloux” Vieilles Vignes from Domaine Bouland is a fine example of the vintage, marrying ripe, deep fruit tones, fine soil inflection and a firm chassis of tannin to carry the wine many decades into the future. The bouquet wafts from the glass in a deep and still quite primary mix of sweet dark berries, black plums, pomegranate, pigeon, black tea, a dollop of fresh herb tones, dark soil elements and a topnote of peonies. On the palate the wine is bright, full-bodied and structured, with a rock solid core of black fruit, fine soil undertow and grip, firm tannins and a long, tangy and nascently complex finish. This will demand some extended cellaring, like so many top examples of Morgon in this vintage, but once it is ready to drink, it will be outstanding. It comes in at the same fourteen percent octane as the Corcelette Sablé bottling this year, but seems a bit more precise and mineral-driven in personality. 2030-2075+. (Jan/Feb 2024)"

93 points Kenna Wells (Wine Advocate): "The 2022 Morgon Corcelette Vieilles Vignes Cailloux exudes charm from the outset, captivating the senses with enticing notes of blackberries, licorice, figs, lilac petals and hints of black pepper intertwined with nuances of balsamic reduction and grilled meats. While boasting a sturdy structure underpinned by chalky tannins, this cuvée presents as the most open-knit among its counterparts, such as the younger-vine or Sable cuvées. The rich black-fruited flavors expand on the mid-palate, revealing deeper layers of ripeness in a savory guise, characterized by flavors of grilled meats and balsamic reduction, followed by a cut of wet-stone salinity that persists with the chalky tannins to guide a mouth-watering finish. Drink: 2024-2035. (5/30/24)"
