95-97 points Fine Wine Review: "Earthy (positive) nose. Exotic, pure, complex black and red fruits, good freshness and finesse. Medium-weight, smooth, complex, round tannins. Should drink well young and is a great success. 300 m altitude — highest Pinot location for Domaine Bouchard. Domaine wine. (4/1/20)"

92-95 points Jasper Morris, MW: "Clear bright fresh purple. Light clay, red coloured on top of hard Corton limestone. Lively deep plums and some dark raspberry, very slinky and seductive with some black fruit on the palate, but retains a lively limestone feel to it. Very persistent. (Nov 2019)"

94 points Tim Atkin, MW.

92-94 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "The 2018 Le Corton Grand Cru is a particular success, revealing lovely aromas of orange rind, peonies, wild berries, grilled game and earthy forest floor. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, elegant and precise, with good concentration and a long, mineral finish. Weber opted to ferment the old-vine fruit from this climat with some 20% whole cluster. (Jan 2020)"

93 points Charles Curtis, MW (Decanter): "In 2018 the picking began on 5th September and yielded a rich, ripe red and black berry fruit character, yet there was no sense of excess, and the wine retained a pleasant freshness despite the heat. The tannins are firm, the texture rewardingly dense, and the finish is long. Produced from the large parcel purchased from the Moyne Jacqueminot family with an east-southeast exposure, just below the portion dedicated to Chardonnay. Drinking Window: 2021-2034. (Mar 2021)"

93 points and 'Sweet spot,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "Ample wood influence is present on the cool and pure essence of baked plum liqueur, earth and plenty of floral and spice nuances. There is excellent size, weight and power to the large-scaled but not ponderous flavors that are also shaped by very firm tannins on the beautifully long if slightly warm finale. This is very promising and should ultimately prove to be very long-lived. Drink: 2033+. (Apr 2020)"

93 points James Suckling: "A firm, linear red with ripe strawberries and raspberries and some hazelnuts and citrus rind. It’s medium-to full-bodied with lightly chewy tannins and a flavorful finish. Tight at the end. Drink after 2022. (8/25/20)"
