Producer notes: "The wine we love. The Rasott comes from the Aglianico vine, from the same vineyard from which we produce the Taurasi and right from the vineyard (ra)under our houses. It is a limpid, ruby-red with purple notes, consistent from the Taurasian fields. Its intense aroma brings notes of ripe red fruit, dominated by plum, undergrowth with ethereal and spicy hints. With pleasant tannins it is a warm, intense and persistent wine, cultivated with care and with the use of only products of the earth, it is a certified organic wine and is a DOC. It is aged in steel, making passages in oak barrels and does not undergo filtration and clarification. It is marketed as a ready wine, where the slight dominance of hardness can be softened with a long aging in the bottle, in fact it is resistant to time and can also be kept for 10-20 years, time which allows it to reach the right maturity."
