93 points La Revue du Vin de France: "Touch of dried flowers in the excellent Les Vaillons, creamy and fresh, classic and charming. (2022)"
90-93 points Jasper Morris, MW: "From six plots well distributed across Vaillons. For example, they pick the 75 year old vines in Séchets a week before those in Mélinots at the far end of the valley. Notably pale in colour, very reductive, suggestive of fresh mint on the stones. Almost dainty within the context of the vintage, yet with good grip at the back. (Sep 2020)"
90-92 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from Séchet, Roncières, Châtains, Mélinots and Vaillons proper). There is even classic Chablis character suffusing the white peach, pear and pretty floral nuances. The racy, intense and solidly mineral-driven medium weight flavors culminate in a saline and lemony finish that displays a mild touch of austerity. Drink: 2026+. (Nov 2020)"
Bill Nanson (Burgundy Report): "Two parcels in Chatains, 2 in Sechets and one each in Minot and Roncières – 3 hectares. A width of forward freshness, of cushioned yellow citrus – it’s a great invitation. Lovely intensity and again texture – melting, mouth-watering – almost juicy without ever becoming over-energetic. The last notes are mineral and with a suggestion of tannin. Contemplative wine again despite the juicy flavour – such an excellent, practically great Vaillons… (Jan 2021)"
