Aging was sur lie for 16 months in French oak; 20% new. This wine was bottled unfined and unfiltered. Hailing from the historic W Block in Bien Nacido in 1973 on their own roots, this must be the most floral vintage of these vines in many years. Honeysuckle, fresh apple blossoms and chamomile blend into a more demure lemon oil and citrus peel palate. We think this wine will hit its peak in about 2028. Alcohol 12.6%."
