92 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The Montmains and Forêt combination works very nicely together and this is an excellent premier cru in the making. The wine offers up a refined nose of apple, pear, beeswax, flinty minerality, lemon peel and a lovely floral topnote redolent of orange blossoms. On the palate the wine is deep, bright and full, with excellent depth at the core, zesty acids, lovely focus and grip13 and a long, complex and beautifully balanced finish. This too seems very likely to be quite expressive upon release and is going to be delicious to drink from the outset. 2023-2045+. (Nov/Dec 2022)"

92 points Jasper Morris MW (Inside Burgundy): "Includes La Forêt in 2021. Bottled February. A clean mid lemon colour. There is a little vanilla alongside the white fruit and not too much iodine. Very concentrated at the back of the palate, with some lime juice and grapefruit. Long balanced finish, where the wood has been intelligently handled. In fact, a very clean mineral finish, an excellent result in this tricky vintage. Drink from 2025-2028. Tasted: July 2023."
