92 points Charles Curtis, MW (Decanter): "This has a lovely, concentrated blackberry fruit up front and plenty of tannic grip on the palate. Resist the temptation to drink right away, as this will surely last. This emblematic cuvée from Amélie Berthaut comes from a beautiful, stony parcel of 1.3ha of vines that average 60 years of age. She vinified the fruit in concrete with one-third whole clusters after a cold soak. Extraction was gentle, with punching down only at the end of fermentation. The wine will not be racked until bottling. Drinking Window: 2023-2040. (Nov 2021)"

89-91 points/'Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "More elegant and more floral-suffused aromas are comprised of various dark berries, especially raspberry, as well as spice and soft earth nuances. There is a more sophisticated texture to the more mineral-driven middle weight flavors that terminate in a less overtly austere and more persistent finale. This is a very solid Fixin villages and is worth checking out. Drink: 2027+. (Jan 2021)"
