94-96 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "Bright mid purple. A little new wood on the nose. 50% whole bunch vinification. This cuvée has a lighter touch chez Amélie and it shows here, as a positive. A slightly drier aspect from the wood but still the fruit is evenly placed across the palate. Drink from 2032-2040. Tasted: November 2023."

94 points/'Outstanding,' Steen Öhman (Winehog): "The Clos Vougeot is from the bottom of the vineyard, and is delicate and vivid with deep, intense fruit. Forward and fruity, it is simultaneously delicate and deeply intense. A bit on the rich side, it includes 50% whole clusters and 20% new oak. Not quite equalling the Echezeaux. Drink from 2035. (1/14/24)"

92-94 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "The 2022 Clos Vougeot Grand Cru has turned out very well, unwinding in the glass with notes of orange zest, plums, dark berries, spices and smoke, followed by a medium to full-bodied, plush and layered palate that's deep and textural, concluding with a penetrating finish. It's a strong effort that exhibits good density without any concomitant asperity. (1/18/24)"

92-94 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from a .31 ha parcel). A distinctly earthy nose is wonderfully fresh with a more restrained nose of softer floral influences and ripe yet cool red cherry and raspberry scents. Once again the medium-bodied flavors possess a beguiling texture that contrasts moderately with the robust, dusty and powerful finish that is a bit less austere than it typically is. Even so, this is also very built-to-age so at least some patience should prove beneficial. Drink: 2034+. (Jan 2024)"

91-93 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2022 Clos Vougeot Grand Cru, which contains 40% whole bunches, has a sense of airiness on the nose, though it doesn't quite have the fruit concentration as the Les Petits-Monts. The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannins, tea leaves and bay leaves infusing the black fruit with a tertiary finish. It's an introspective Clos Vougeot requiring 4-6 years in bottle. Drink: 2027-2045. (Jan 2024)"

Bill Nanson (Burgundy Report): "(‘From the bottom of the slope – and it’s good!’) Hmm – actually a wider nose with plenty of flowers in the complexity – it’s a fine invitation. Fuller and juicy flavoured 0- I do like the structure here and the wine is completely delicious – almost too easy for CV – yum! (1/14/24)"
